So, most of you know by now that I'm going to join the military. I don't want to fight any of you about it, it's what I want to do. I've made up my mind, and if I decide to change that decision, I will change it. Like I said, I don't want any fighting, enough of you are mad at me already. I'm going to serve with the Army National Guard, 2 weeks a year, and one weekend a month. I'm going into the communications field, so most likely I won't see any combat in my first year. I say my first year, because that's all I'm contracted for. After that, I may continue it. I'm not sure.
Back to normal life though, I just pulled another 12 hour shift without a break. I think i might be dying. lol. I worked Friday, 5PM till about 5:30AM, Saturday, 5PM till about 4:30AM. Today I work 2PM to 10PM. but im off for the rest of the week until Saturday. Which is nice.
Got a couple things to do today, gotta do math homework so i can pull my 44% up to a B. :/ Also, need to work on English project. Must not fail. I'm contemplating joining the BPA through my vocational programming class.
Well. Off to finish my room, church, and work. Then school, repeat, and possibly Iraq. Im outta here. Lata.
I miss you. Even just as a friend, it's tough not seeing you very much. I don't work during the week. Call me?
playing: A Perfect Circle - Emotive (2004) - 12 - Fiddle and the Drum
OMG I BURNED MY ARM! Second-degree burn right next to my battle scar. Pictures to follow. And that reminds me, somehow, that I need to go get a state ID or something. Cuz apparently you can deposit money all you want, but if you want to be able to use any of it, you better be able to identify yourself. ... Fuckers.
blar!

So, Katie and I are on good terms now. We'll both be 18 in like 9 days, so, we must have a huge birthday bash at Ryn's Basement on the 30th. All invited, bring food and/or presents. Or just your bodies. Or in fact, anyone's body. Alright fine, you don't have to bring anything, just come. Or don't, see how we feel. O_o. What now! Now you're confused!
So, I have a job at Taco Bell. I do things. In fact, I've been training the new recruits. Even though I myself have only been there 3 weeks. So confusing. Carmel Apple Empanadas = Amazing.
Amanda would look hot as a panda. That is all.
Wonderful. I don't know what to do now. I guess my choices are Cry, Laugh, Murder small fuzzy animals, or just sit here and stare blankly at my screen until i forget. I don't think your a bitch. Thought never crossed my mind, actually. And actually, the whole situation might be mutual. I'm not sure. Actually, I'm not sure of much right now. However, there is a pizza, star wars movie, and possibly a case of beer with my name on it right now. So I'm going to go concentrate on such happier things.

Siiiiiiick. I've been periodically throwing up for the pat several hours -- let me tell you, that's not pleasant. So thirsty too, but I don't have any dew. I guess I'll have to drink water. It's freaking friday too. Goddammit.
I feel that I simply have to repost from yesterday. so:
*rachel threatens danny and i by turning up radio.*
*she waves her hand in a 'lighter'-like position*
Me: "This isn't music you do that to. This is country music. This is music for burning the flag and persecuting blacks!"

So, I just got home from school. Now. At 9:53 PM. After school, I was helping setup the lighting system for the talent show tomorrow (turns out that we havent used the lights for a while, so we had to put in new parts, clean the lenses and mirrors, reprogram the lights to start them working, then go through setting up IRQ addresses and command languages using dip switches (how archaic. :/), and finally, reprogram my DMX board to accept them as real, working lights, instead of the fake, broken lights that they were. Then we also had to run something like 1500 feet of DMX cable, daisy chaining the lights around the theatre, and then running back and forth to the switchboard. After that, we had to setup strobe lights (which required learning how to use an electic screwdriver), figure out how to solder together a male to male connector to extend the wires so they would all reach all the lights. Then we found out that we didnt have a power supply for the strobe panel.
After that was done, we ate chinese food.
That's only the lighting, and thats only what we did today. We setup/programmed 12 new lights, and fixed/cleaned 3 more. Tomorrow, Jen and I have to run the color changers, and start doing DMX programming (the fun kind), and make patterns with the strobes and the Victory/Roboscans. After that, we have to tape down all the wires we ran tonight, and make sure nothing breaks. Then we have to help the rest of the crew get their shit strapped and ready to go. By the way...We got all that done because Jen and I worked together the entire time. As the only lighting crewmembers onsite, we had to. Video only had one, and sound only had one. For all the people that wore your EPS polo shirts today, which would be about 35, only 4 people showed up to strap shit for tomorrow. Thanks a bunch.
Video and Sound got some of their stuff setep, they've got more to do tomorrow, like us. Anyway, after we got that done, Jen, Chris, Jason and I played some DDR. fun fun, except now im exhausted. lol. Time for some CS. (Jason doesn't count, he's a staff member. Technically, Mrs. Persinger was there too. They fed us. we like them. Jason's a woman.)
So, needless today, we have a lot to do before we open the show tomorrow. I need to reaim some lights in the catwalk, and we definately need to dust/clean the lights. Practice for performers is at 3PM, Show starts at 7PM. The cost is $5, and it is in the BHS Auditorium. There are two special audience-participation competitions, a DDR contest, and a Napoleon Dynamite Dance Contest. All tech members should report in at 11AM.
[lie]Everyone who comes will recieve money and ice cream. [/lie]
I hate computers. I typed up my book review today to turn in, and then i went to lunch. but i didnt save it right, or something, and the computer crashed. and lost my document. so now, my paper has a title, and a works cited page. wonderful.
